NEW:

Put the kitchen sink in the island.  Design it out of Nucrete – that stainless steel acting concrete.  Did you know Nucrete will not stain or mar with wine, lemons, acids, etc?  Design the sink, drainboard and counter as one.  Then add two single hole fittings - one for each bowl.  It is a fantastic look and practical too.  Everyone deserves a helper in the kitchen.

OLD:

Tell your client to take their camera on their next trip to France or Italy.  Suggest they find the perfect old stone sink in that lovely Tuscan restaurant or quaint inn in Piedmont.  Send us the picture and we can see about having a custom sink done in honed limestone or Egyptian stone.  Then picture one single gargoyle tap above “daintily” spitting water into that bowl.
